Job Description

Machine Maintenance Technicians are responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting breakdowns as they occur on the manufacturing floor. The primary focus is on prioritizing safety, minimizing downtime, and optimizing production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment according to schedule.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, and sensors.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems on machines.
• Collaborate with team members and leads to analyze and solve complex technical repairs.
• Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Document all maintenance and repairs performed on the floor.
• Address machine calls and breakdowns, which will take up 85% of the time, while the remaining 15% will be dedicated to performing predictive maintenance on equipment.

Essential Skills

• Industrial maintenance expertise.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Understanding of both high and low voltages AC & DC.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in PLC troubleshooting, preferably with Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley systems.
• Robotic troubleshooting skills, especially with Mottoman or Fanuc robots.

Work Environment

Work in an extremely clean and organized automotive manufacturing environment. Available shifts include two positions on the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) and two positions on the 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am).

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, IN.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Greenfield,IN.
