MIG Welder $25-28/hr in Greenfield

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for completing custom welding projects with precision and efficiency for a diverse range of clients. Use your expertise to build high-quality welded parts from blueprints provided by our engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Complete custom welding projects within a timely manner.
  • Utilize blueprints to weld together pre-built kits and produce parts from sheet metal, plate, bar stock, and aluminum.
  • Perform 90% MIG welding and occasional TIG welding.
  • Operate OTC welders.
  • Ensure projects maintain tolerances detailed on blueprints.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of welding experience.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding (robotic welding not applicable).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Team player with honesty and integrity.
  • Experience in fabrication and weld callouts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • TIG welding experience.
  • Experience with weld callouts.
  • Driven with the ability to produce high-quality welded parts with guidance.

Work Environment

Our facility offers a supportive work environment with different shifts available. 1st shift runs from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, and 3rd shift operates from 10:30pm to 7:00am, Sunday through Thursday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
