Job Description

A manufacturer located in the Greenfield, IN area is seeking a skilled Press Brake Set Up Operator for the 3rd shift. The position involves operating and setting up Amada press brake machines ranging from 60T to 250T.

Responsibilities

• Set up press brake machinery efficiently and accurately.
• Read blueprints and make necessary adjustments based on quality checks.
• Change tooling and dies according to the product specifications.
• Bend, contour, and punch holes in aluminum and carbon steel sheets or rolls.
• Utilize critical math skills and a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Operate various quality instruments such as gages and calipers.

Essential Skills

• Experience with press brake operations and setup.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Experience in job shop environments.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Competency in using brake press machines and conducting machine setups.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in job shop, custom fabrication, and progressive press setup environments.

This position is for the 3rd shift, operating from 10:30pm to 7:00am, Sunday through Thursday. The work environment is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, providing an efficient and modern setting for optimal performance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
