Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst (6-Month Contract-to-Hire) MUST RESIDE IN INDIANAPOLIS, IN or surrounding area.
📍 Location: Onsite – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
📅 Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for full-time hire
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This role is critical in supporting our equipment and 3D part production by managing supplier relationships, procurement processes, and inventory flow. Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for components, materials, and services.
- Manage RFQs, purchase orders, lead times, and cost tracking.
- Maintain and strengthen vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct vendor risk assessments and support Approved Supplier List (ASL) management.
- Oversee receiving processes and monitor inventory levels for just-in-time manufacturing.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and cost breakdowns.
- Hold suppliers accountable to lead times and production goals.
- Source specialized parts and handle ad hoc administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
MUST RESIDE IN OR NEAR INDIANAPOLIS, IN.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or inventory control.
- Strong ability to manage supplier communications and enforce lead time commitments.
- Experience with quoting, cost analysis, and BOM creation.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or 3D production environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software tools.
