Job Title: Millwright Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic in a dry corn milling facility, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your role is crucial in minimizing downtime and ensuring the safety and reliability of the facility's machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, including pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, power transmissions, and other power-driven rotating equipment.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery and equipment.

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
