AV Technician

Description

TEKsystems is looking to bring an individual in on a 3-month C2H basis.

This person could be going to do commercial installations OR replacing one of the current residential installers while they go to the commercial side. They could be doing anything from hanging TVs and projectors, pulling cable, or integrating the devices throughout the location. The manager has been getting approved business and they are expecting more. These individuals need to have the knowledge of cabling and hand tools and using those for A/V Installation.

• Design, configure, and install complex audio, video, and lighting systems tailored to specific customer needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in automation programming, including control systems and user interface development.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on AV and lighting equipment, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project phases, including design schematics, installation procedures, and maintenance records.
• Provide detailed reports on project progress and outcomes to management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in audio, video, automation, and lighting.
