Job Title: Production Operator
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor production lines to ensure consistent quality and performance.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Inspect finished products to confirm they meet quality specifications.
- Document production data, counts, and any deviations from standard processes.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and equipment lockout/tagout procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or a related field (or willingness to train).
- Ability to lift [insert weight, e.g., 25–50 lbs] and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and safety procedures.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Jeffersonville, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
