Description

A typical day in the life of a Patient Services Associate will include the following:

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Handles 25–50 inbound calls/day related to re-enrollment and reverification
  • Outbound calls to providers/payers to verify benefits and gather missing intake information
  • Documents coverage details in Summary of Benefits (shared with patients/providers as needed)
  • Updates case notes in Lynk system to reflect status and actions taken
  • Mix of patient and provider calls

  • Patient-Centric Mindset – Professional, kind, and empathetic communication
  • Technical Proficiency – Microsoft Office required; Excel a plus
  • Thrives in Fast-Paced Environments – Handles pressure and multiple priorities
  • High-Volume Experience – Prior experience with heavy call loads or large-scale data
