Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician Level 5 or Robotics Technician is responsible for performing preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. This role involves troubleshooting electrical, electromechanical, robotics, and controls failures. The specialist will execute advanced maintenance procedures on all plant equipment, including AC/DC control circuitry, programmable logic controllers, microprocessor controls, power distribution systems, computer hardware, minor mechanical adjustments, and equipment/part replacements.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical, robotics, and control system failures.
- Execute maintenance procedures on plant equipment such as AC/DC control circuitry and programmable logic controllers.
- Read and interpret machine manuals, schematics, electrical blueprints, and process control diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and install 480V electric motor wiring and 120V and 24V DC motor control circuits.
- Program and troubleshoot VFD’s, PLC’s, and HMI’s.
- Use RS Logix and/or C Logix as well as SLC/Micro Logix programming platforms.
- Interpret and understand fault readings on controllers, PLC’s, and variable frequency drives, and take corrective actions.

Work Environment
This position is located in a food manufacturing facility that is climate controlled. Employees are required to wear a beard and a hair net. The facility is an industrial bakery producing cakes, muffins, and croissants. The maintenance team consists of 15 members, including supervisors and leads. There is one opening for the night shift from 7pm to 7am.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00/yr.
