Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our innovative company that specializes in producing reusable furnace filters made from coconut fibers. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to address mechanical issues within our plant.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic components in the plant.
• Maintain and service equipment including choppers, grinders, ovens, paint mixers, and painting machines.
• Ensure the efficient operation of conveyor systems.
• Perform routine tasks such as motor changes, bearing replacements, and machine lubrication.
• Assist in other facility areas as needed, including loading trucks, sweeping, and packing boxes.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical experience in hydraulics and pneumatics (minimum 6 months).
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.

This is a Permanent position based out of Michigan City, IN.

The pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $48000.00/yr.
