Job Title: Production Laborer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Laborer in our manufacturing facility, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the production process. In this role, you will be responsible for staging, prepping, and offloading finished products, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the production floor and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Start assembly and production machinery
• Maintain a clean and production area.
• Move materials to production areas as needed.
• Ensure production deadlines are consistently met.
• Complete daily production tasks as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation, palletizing, or production line work.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
• Capability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Proficiency in bending, lifting, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
• Willingness to be trained in sit-down forklift operation.
• Experience in manufacturing, machine operation, forklift use, production environments, packaging, loading and unloading, general labor, and shipping and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large manufacturing setting that is not temperature controlled, resulting in hot conditions during summer and mild conditions during winter. Breaks include one 15-minute and one 30-minute lunch break. The dress code requires safe footwear and restricts revealing clothing. Personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and gloves, is required in certain areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOORESVILLE, IN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in MOORESVILLE,IN.
