Job Description
You will be responsible for the custom assembly of conveyor systems on a daily basis, utilizing your skills in welding and fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Assemble conveyor systems using welding and fabrication techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
- Perform MIG welding tasks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with welding and fabrication.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a job shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment
The fabrication shop specializes in manufacturing material handling systems, including airport conveyor systems. The shift runs from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, with a shorter day on Friday from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. Overtime is available on Fridays from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm and Saturdays from 6:30 am to 12:00 pm. The shop maintains a very clean environment, enhancing both safety and comfort.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
