Job Description

This role encompasses the primary duties of a Staff Pharmacist and a Compliance Manager. Your role will be integral in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and promoting continuous improvement in our long-term care pharmacy operations.

  • Serve as a resource to staff regarding compliance-related questions and issues.
  • Support the Compliance Department and senior management in responding to regulatory inquiries, inspections, and audits.
  • Manage the pharmacy's medication destruction program in compliance with EPA and DSCSA regulations.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a typical workload of 40-45 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is available, making it ideal for those with retail experience seeking a better work-life balance. The role involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, primarily standing throughout the day.
