Job Title: CNC Operator I
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join our team. This role is a first shift position, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes, and ensuring the production of high-quality components.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual machines, including saws, mills, and lathes.
- Recognize various material types and adjust equipment as needed.
- Identify worn tooling and replace it in the machine as required.
- Verify accuracy of completed products or batch inspections.
- Report any defective materials, discrepancies, or process malfunctions to the Department Lead.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment.
- Follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including in-process or carbon copy production sheets.
Essential Skills
- Basic understanding of machining principles and CNC machine operations.
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in CNC machining.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and occasionally to high places, fumes, and airborne particles. You will frequently experience vibration, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, requiring hearing protection in specific locations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $41600.00/yr.
