Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery.
• Analyze and maintain systems and equipment within the plant.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
• Work on motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
• Reference and interpret diagrams, operations manuals, engineering specs, sketches, or manufacturer's instructions.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Experience in PLC troubleshooting and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to perform maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in interpreting schematics and blueprints.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and machine repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment.
• Mechanical comprehension and functional understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and motors.
• Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement experience.
• Preferred experience in PLC diagnostics.
• Knowledge of process equipment control for troubleshooting and installations.
• Field service knowledge including photo eyes, smart eyes, micro switches, encoders, and reed sensors.
• Electromechanical troubleshooting skills including controls, components, and control wiring diagnosis.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Plainfield, IN.

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Plainfield,IN.
