Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals for Warehouse Worker positions located in South Bend, IN. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, and pallet jack to efficiently move materials within the warehouse. A critical aspect of the job includes the use of an RF Scanner to locate and store materials. The work schedule comprises 12-hour shifts, with every other Wednesday off, alternating between 48-hour and 36-hour workweeks.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, and pallet jack.
- Utilize an RF Scanner to locate and store materials.
- Stand for the entire 12-hour shift.
- Lift and pull up to 50lbs.
- Follow instructions on where to stage materials.
- Work over holidays as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Steel Toes and Pants are required for safety.
Work Environment
The position is based in a brand-new, temperature-controlled warehouse facility dedicated to distribution and logistics. The facility offers a safe and comfortable working environment with a requirement for steel-toed shoes and pants as part of the dress code. Multiple shift options are available, including Front Half Days, Front Half Nights, Back Half Days, and Back Half Nights, providing flexibility for various schedules.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.00/hr.
