We are searching for Safety Training Instructor on behalf of our client. This is a 3-month contract assignment. The person will be responsible for providing safety and compliance training to the internal employees. The person will work within a team of 3 people who provide training to the company. The Safety Trainer will be required to traveling to different plants and service centers throughout the territory. Job is an onsite position, 5 days per week at various plants/service centers.

Location: Hugo, MN / Becker, MN

Responsibilities
  • The team has a training schedule built for the entire year so that they know what training will look like and where the work is being conducted.
  • There is a main training center where majority of the training is conducted out of (Hugo, MN), however, this role will require traveling to different plants and service centers throughout the territory.
  • Training materials are in place regarding the content that is to be presented during the training.
  • The person should be able to take the materials and, in a short amount of time, be able to understand the content and focus of the training and be able to deliver.
  • Use of personal vehicle is required and mileage reimbursement available.
Requirements
  • Must have 5 years of experience.
  • Must have the ability to connect with people while conducting training is extremely important. Must have strong communication skills. Expect that this resource has previous experience as a trainer; preferably someone who has conducted safety training or experience being a part a safety organization that has a firm understanding of OSHA requirements/regulations and how they apply to the organization, specifically, the training requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) and strong presentation skills.
  • Must have a valid drives license and be willing/able to travel.
  • Use of personal vehicle is required.
