Job Title: Material Handler – Weekly Pay + Career Growth in a Brand‑New Facility

About the Role

Join our team as a Material Handler and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly in our state-of-the-art, newly opened facility. We’re looking for motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and being part of a team that values efficiency, safety, and quality.

We have a ton of overnight shifts available (6pm-6am) and we are expecting more morning shifts to open soon (6am-6apm.)

What You’ll Do

• Efficiently load and unload trucks.
• Deliver materials to the production floor to keep operations moving.
• Review order sheets to analyze and plan workload.
• Perform routine checks on raw materials.
• Inspect and maintain equipment (e.g., cleaning, checking fluids).
• Conduct quality checks using microscopes, calipers, micrometers, digital voltmeters, and other measurement tools.
• Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, walkie riders, and pallet jacks.
• Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Prepare and handle required documentation.
• Keep your work area clean by following 6S standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Train peers when needed.
• Work all assigned shift hours.

Essential Skills

• Material handling experience
• Inventory management & packing knowledge
• General production and labor skills
• Experience with RF scanners and order picking
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks
• Understanding of shipping and receiving processes

Additional Qualifications

• Experience loading/unloading trucks
• Ability to complete documentation for receipts and deliveries
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, production-focused setting where safety and organization come first. Expect to use equipment such as forklifts, walkies, and pallet jacks. We follow strict 6S standards to ensure a clean, efficient, and safe workspace.

This is a Contract position based out of De Soto, KS.

The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $20.70/hr.
