Electrical Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project lifecycles from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires limited travel, visiting job sites 1-2 times a month for 1-2 days each time. The Project Manager will communicate with customers, track jobs and manpower, order materials, and manage project financials.

• Lead full lifecycle project management from preconstruction to closeout.
• Ensure accountability for safety, scheduling, execution quality, and financial performance.
• Manage profit/loss, cost forecasting, and budget adherence.
• Write subcontractor scopes and manage vendor relationships.
• Oversee procurement activities and conduct QA/QC on engineering drawings and field installations.
• Lead client communication, resolve technical issues, and maintain professionalism.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, meeting documentation, and project files.
• Oversee project billing, documentation, and daily operational needs.
• Support sourcing, evaluating, and estimating bid opportunities.
• Provide logistical project support and delegate tasks across internal teams.

• Project management expertise.
• Experience in electrical work with a minimum of 3 years.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Excel.
• Experience with material ordering, manpower tracking, and job tracking.
• Strong computer skills including Salesforce and ServiceNow CRM.

• Preferably 1+ year experience as an Assistant Project Manager, but open to candidates with foreman level experience.
• Experience with client interaction and communication.

The role involves limited travel to job sites and requires the use of various project management software and CRM systems. The work environment is dynamic, focusing on maintaining high standards of safety and quality while ensuring financial performance and client satisfaction.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lenexa,KS.
