Pay Rate - $23/hr.

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking construction laborers to join our team. The role involves working on construction projects performing general labor tasks such as demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and clean-up to aid daily operations at a construction site. Your contribution will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment while supporting the overall project.

Responsibilities

• Perform demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and clean-up tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe construction site.
• Support daily operations and overall project goals.
• Utilize general clean skills to contribute effectively to the project.

Essential Skills

• General labor skills with 3+ years' experience in a commercial or large residential job setting.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to speak about safety precautions in a construction environment.
• Experience with concrete, carpentry, forklift operation, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• OSHA 10 certification and familiarity with scissor lifts, scaffolding, loading, and lifting.
• Competence in using a tape measure, hammer, and saw.

• Familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Good interpersonal skills and a team spirit.
• Ability to perform construction activities using various power tools and small machinery.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules and instructions.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret various instructions.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and physical capacity profiles.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Work Environment

The construction laborer will work primarily outdoors and may encounter varying weather conditions. The position involves working near moving mechanical parts and occasionally in high places or wet/humid conditions. The noise level is typical of a construction site, and reasonable accommodations are available to support individuals with disabilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
