The Skilled Machine Technician is responsible for operating automated high-speed lithium-ion battery production machines within clean-room environments. This role involves machine maintenance, ensuring cleanliness of work areas, and facilitating the safe and efficient production of high-quality batteries. Additionally, the technician performs basic equipment cleaning and maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities- Operate automated high-speed lithium-ion battery production machines.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and machines.
- Perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machine errors following specified escalation procedures.
- Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments for maintenance and quality control.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures strictly.
- Understand department workflows and processes.
- Ensure prompt fulfillment of requests and timely delivery of materials, supplies, and spare parts.
- Assist Maintenance Technicians in executing basic preventative maintenance procedures.
- Monitor processes and conduct continuous image inspections and visual quality checks.
- Execute work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Complete end-of-day reporting and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Report quality issues, concerns, or deviations from standards promptly.
- Maintain detailed inspection, quality issues, and deviation records.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.80 - $22.80/hr.
