Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in managing medications and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Handle medication of specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Process pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included.
• Perform drug and supply ordering and manage inventory.
• Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including refrigeration of perishable products.
• Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as needed.

Essential Skills

• Licensed in KS
• Pharmacy technician certificate
• Pharmacy technician license
• Fulfillment experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience in any setting preferred
• National certification preferred, not required

Work Environment

The work environment is structured with shifts from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves using pharmacy-specific equipment and handling medications, ensuring compliance with storage requirements including refrigeration where necessary.
