As a Structures Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling aircraft structures in accordance with customer specifications. This role requires precision and a strong adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Candidate will be performing structural assembly of commercial jet structures
  • Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas.
  • Locating blind holes necessary for installation of new structural items to existing structure.
  • Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes.
  • Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
  • Ability to proficiently access and manipulate computer systems daily for work instructions, drawings, and training
  • Use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.

Requirements

  • 4+ years aircraft structures assembly/modification experience
  • Experience drill, deburring, countersinking, and bucking rivets
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints
  • 1st shift

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
