Electrical Assembler

The role involves using basic hand tools to disassemble machines for repair, measuring parts for retrofitting, assembling parts for updated machine tools, and installing new machines. The position requires building and wiring control panels and assisting with mechanical assembly and other fabrication duties.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble machines using basic hand tools for mechanical repairs.
• Measure parts to retrofit them to existing machines.
• Assemble parts for updated machine tools.
• Install new machines efficiently.
• Build and wire control panels.
• Assist in mechanical assembly and other fabrication duties.

• Proficiency in electrical assembly and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with hand tools, mechanical assembly, and production processes.
• Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of electrical systems.

• A core skill set in areas such as maintenance mechanics, metal fabrication, welding, or electrical work.
• Ability to articulate experience and relate it to the job requirements.
• Light electrical experience is a plus but not necessary.

Work Environment

The role is based in a metal fabrication and machine shop that specializes in revamping and updating outdated machines. The facility offers comprehensive services including general machining, bending, drilling, grinding, plasma cutting, and more. The ideal candidate will have metal fabrication experience, with opportunities to work on machinery rebuilding and repairs in a collaborative team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Erlanger, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
