Production Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor for the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role involves leading and directing a team of hourly manufacturing employees, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for hourly manufacturing employees.
• Engage the workforce to reduce costs.
• Coordinate all plant resources to address issues and improve metrics.
• Promote a work environment that adheres to all company policies and principles.
• Coach and mentor personnel to enhance their value to the organization.
• Communicate departmental performance regarding safety, quality, and cost to all employees.
• Manage daily operations in areas of responsibility concerning quality, customer service, and total costs.
• Maintain a safe working environment by eliminating hazards and ensuring general housekeeping.
• Meet or exceed plant goals for quality, customer service, and costs.
• Lead pre-shift meetings for effective team communication.
• Review and respond to employee time-off requests.

Work Environment

The position operates on a 12-hour 2-2-3 night shift, from 7 PM to 7 AM. As a supervisor, you will manage a team in a manufacturing environment that requires steel toes, safety glasses, and earplugs. While some areas of the plant are temperature-controlled, many are not.

This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, KY.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Franklin,KY.
