Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in managing the efficient movement of freight. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight, sorting according to size and destination, and ensuring the accurate reconciliation of driver pick-up and delivery manifests.

Responsibilities

• Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination.
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process.
• Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
• Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of the dock.
• Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment with multiple shift options to suit your schedule: Sun-Wed and Wed-Sat with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift options, or Fri-Mon from 6:00am to 6:30pm. Join a team that prioritizes safety and cleanliness.

This is a Contract position based out of Independence, KY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Independence,KY.
