Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to oversee daily on-site construction activities. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, implementing safety policies, and ensuring a safe jobsite at all times. You will monitor project schedules, sequencing, and productivity, as well as read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Additionally, you will coordinate inspections and ensure quality control standards are met, while effectively communicating progress, issues, and updates to project management. Accurate daily reports and site documentation are essential responsibilities of this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site construction activities and coordinate subcontractors.
• Implement and maintain safety policies to ensure a safe jobsite at all times.
• Monitor project schedules, sequencing, and productivity.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Communicate progress, issues, and updates to project management.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation.

Essential Skills

• Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• 10+ years of experience in construction management.
• Experience with restaurant or manufacturing projects.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in construction management.
• Experience in restaurant or industrial/manufacturing construction.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Work Environment

The work environment is based at a project site in Ontario, CA, focusing on a Toyota project involving commercial kitchen installation and remodel.

This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, KY.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
