Job Title: Project Architect
Job Description
The Project Architect plays a pivotal role in assisting the Principal-In-Charge with formulating design objectives and planning, organizing, and scheduling activities to meet these objectives. This role involves developing and implementing operating policies, procedures, and systems to support planned operations, ensuring they are well-documented and communicated to project personnel. The Project Architect also evaluates, recommends, and implements procedures for data acquisition, management, and quality control while managing the staff assigned to the project.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project specifications and material selections.
- Motivate and monitor the progress of work performed by project staff.
- Provide Project Building Code Compliance Review.
- Respond to external requests for information.
- Plan and participate in meetings and discussion groups to promote project communication.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and handle diverse project types.
- Serve as a key resource for project information and resolve problems or questions referred by internal and external sources.
- Establish and maintain an active network of professional contacts.
- Remain informed of the current status of completed and ongoing research in related areas.
- Actively participate in professionally sponsored meetings, seminars, and symposia as a representative of the project and the company.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Architectural design expertise.
- Project management skills.
- Licensed architect with at least 3 years of experience post-licensure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree from an NCARB Accredited Educational Institution (Bachelor/Master).
- Professional Architect Licensure.
- Experience in commercial architecture.
