Job Description

Looking for a Diesel Mechanic to inspects, diagnoses, maintains, and repairs diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment, including trucks, buses, and construction machinery. This role involves fixing engines, brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems using computerized diagnostics and hands-on skills to ensure safety and performance. Additionally, the mechanic manages paperwork, orders parts, and maintains a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose issues in diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Maintain and repair engines, brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Utilize computerized diagnostics and hands-on skills for repairs.
• Ensure safety and optimal performance of all machinery.
• Manage necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Order parts and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, KY.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $60000.00/yr.
