Summary:
TEKsystems is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support one of our clients on a third-shift schedule in Louisville, KY. The technician will provide on-site technical support within a centralized IT support center, assisting internal end users with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. They will work closely with both the help desk team and end-user computing (EUC) team to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming support requests via phone and ticketing system, delivering prompt and courteous assistance.
- Diagnose and resolved issues related to Windows operating systems, user accounts, and basic network connectivity.
- Provide support for password resets, account access, and desktop troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed documentation of support interactions and resolutions.
- Participate in a structured training program, including assessments to ensure readiness and technical proficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience with troubleshooting in a Windows-based environment.
- Familiarity with user account management and basic Active Directory functions.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and handling high call volumes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
