About the Role

We are seeking a Electromechanical Engineering Technologist to support the reliability, safety, and performance of Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution equipment. In this role, you will conduct technical studies, perform mechanical tests, and ensure optimal equipment functionality through hands-on lab work and data analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine investigations and mechanical tests, including Vibration Testing, Thermal Testing, Fatigue Testing, Impact Testing, Corrosion Testing, Tensile Testing, and Compression Testing.
  • Assemble test setups incorporating data acquisition systems.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports.
  • Manage equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure accuracy.
  • Apply LabView and industry testing standards to validate findings.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and power tools.
  • Proficiency in electro-mechanical lab tests and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, as needed.
