Over time, you may have the opportunity to learn and perform different assembly functions as you gain experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble heavy industrial trailer axles according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Work at a fixed station on an assembly line, performing the same assembly task on each axle as it moves through the line.
- Use hand tools, impact guns, and other power tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
- Follow detailed work instructions and diagrams to ensure accurate and consistent assembly.
- Inspect parts and components during assembly to identify defects or issues and report them promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and shift leads to keep the assembly line running smoothly.
- Adapt to different assembly functions as needed and as skills develop.
- Follow all workplace safety rules, including proper use of tools and equipment.

- Ability to operate power tools such as impact guns safely and accurately.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical assembly processes.
- Comfort working on an assembly line and performing repetitive tasks with consistency.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy industrial components as required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a structured work setting.
- Strong focus on safety while working with tools, equipment, and heavy parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in heavy industrial assembly is a strong plus.
- Background in automotive, trailer, or similar mechanical assembly environments is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn multiple assembly functions and cross-train on different stations.
- Reliability and punctuality in a production environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team on a moving assembly line.
Why Work Here?
You will join a stable production environment where you can build practical mechanical skills and gain hands-on experience with industrial assembly. The role offers a consistent daytime schedule that supports work-life balance, along with opportunities to learn different assembly functions and grow your capabilities over time. You will work with supportive teammates who value safety, quality, and reliability, in a setting where your contribution directly supports the success of the operation.
Work Environment
This position is based in a heavy industrial production facility operating on a first shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will work on a smaller-scale assembly line that functions similarly to an automotive assembly line, with axles moving from one station to the next. The work involves standing for most of the shift and using hand tools, impact guns, and other power tools. The environment is active and hands-on, with a strong emphasis on safety, organization, and maintaining a clean work area. Appropriate work attire typically includes durable clothing and closed-toe footwear suitable for an industrial setting, along with any required personal protective equipment provided on site.
