Job Description
As an Electronics Technician, you will perform routine tasks to diagnose, test, and repair faulty equipment. Your role involves refurbishing equipment to ensure quality and cosmetic standards while maintaining adequate turnaround times. You will work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve successful completion of tasks. Proficiency with computers, test equipment, and small hand tools is required, as is the ability to read and follow written work instructions. You will also be responsible for recording repairs completed on all equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, test, and repair faulty equipment.
- Refurbish equipment to meet quality and cosmetic standards.
- Ensure adequate turnaround times for repairs.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Utilize computers, test equipment, and small hand tools effectively.
- Read and follow written work instructions.
- Record all completed repairs accurately.
- Electronics troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience with point of sale equipment.
- Proficiency in using test equipment and performing assembly and repair.
- Ability to read and follow diagrams and schematic instructions.
- Skills in soldering and calibration.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Dependability and reliability.

- Adherence to all safety procedures.

Work Environment
The work environment is a temperature-controlled electronic repair setting, offering comfort while working either standing or sitting. It provides a clean and organized space conducive to both individual and team work.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
