Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to perform routine tasks, diagnosing, testing, and repairing faulty equipment. The role involves refurbishing equipment to ensure quality and cosmetic standards are met, as well as adhering to turnaround times. The technician will work independently and in a team environment to achieve successful outcomes. Proficiency with computers, test equipment, and small hand tools is essential, as is the ability to read and follow written work instructions. Recording repairs completed on all equipment is also required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair faulty equipment.
• Refurbish equipment to ensure quality and cosmetic standards are met.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks successfully.
• Utilize computers, test equipment, and small hand tools effectively.
• Read and follow written work instructions.
• Record repairs completed on all equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair.
• Proficiency with point of sale equipment.
• Ability to use test equipment and follow assembly and repair processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow diagrams.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and soldering techniques.
• Ability to perform calibration tasks.

Work Environment

The work environment is a temperature-controlled electronic repair setting, allowing for both standing and sitting as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
