Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to develop comprehensive project plans tailored to client requirements, including scope, budget, and schedules. This role involves analyzing project specifications, drawings, and contracts to determine resource requirements and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices.
• Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment.
• Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues that may arise, minimizing delays.
• Lead project teams, including site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Provide clear direction and communication to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor the quality of concrete work, including formwork, placement, finishing, and curing processes.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure project completion meets client and company standards.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and management.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including change orders and RFI logs.

Essential Skills

• Project management experience, particularly in construction.
• Concrete/Site Work Experience.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Procore experience.
• A degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred.
• 5 years of commercial construction experience with a concrete focus.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• ACI certification.
• PMP certification.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily on construction sites with occasional office-based work for planning, meetings, and reporting. The role may require travel to multiple project locations. You will partner with other Project Managers on projects and act as a subject matter expert regarding concrete pours and mixes.

This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
