Pharmacist in Charge – Lead with Purpose, Counsel with Care

We’re hiring a Pharmacist in Charge to support a fast-growing pharmacy that’s redefining patient engagement. You’ll be the voice patients trust, the guide clinicians rely on, and the heartbeat of a high-performing pharmacy team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and mentor pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
- Conduct deep-dive clinical reviews: drug utilization, interactions, compliance, and more
- Document findings to keep nursing teams informed and aligned
- Counsel patients on new therapies using evidence-based models
- Complete REMS training and follow program SOPs
- Coordinate care with clinicians, nurses, and caregivers
- Provide subcutaneous teaching and support for patients
- Build lasting relationships with patients and healthcare teams
What You Bring
- Active Kentucky pharmacist license (required)
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure upon hire
- 2+ years of experience counseling patients and verifying prescriptions
- Experience in retail, independent, or hospital pharmacy
- Strong grasp of pharmacy laws and healthcare operations
The Details
- Schedule: Mon–Fri, 10 AM–7 PM CST
- Saturdays: 8–10 per year, 8 AM–5 PM (with a weekday off in exchange)
- Type: Full-time, Contract-to-Hire
- Location: Onsite in Shepherdsville, KY
