Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing production efficiency, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the highest quality standards within our manufacturing facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative manufacturing solutions across various engineering disciplines, including industrial, mechanical, process, and robotics engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering initiatives and process improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis on production issues to identify underlying problems and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Design, modify, and optimize manufacturing equipment and tooling using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD software.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, robotics, and vision inspection systems to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Lead projects related to plastics injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly line enhancements, and robotics integration.
  • Conduct process engineering activities including process validation, process flow analysis, and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Create schematics, technical drawings, and detailed documentation adhering to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing waste.
  • Oversee industrial equipment maintenance, calibration, and safety compliance within the manufacturing environment.
  • Support factory experience initiatives by applying industrial engineering principles to improve overall plant performance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies (such as Six Sigma), ISO 9001 standards, and factory automation systems.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments with hands-on knowledge of assembly lines, fabrication processes, tooling, CNC programming (GDT & CAM), and industrial equipment.
  • Skilled in PLC programming, robot programming (including robotics integration), vision inspection systems, and CNC machining.
  • Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes and tooling design.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment maintenance and fabrication techniques.
Work Environment

Work involves injection molding and assembly processes. The environment is climate-controlled, focusing on maintaining comfort and safety standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Springfield, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
