Job Description

As a Production Supervisor, you will ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations while maintaining a safe work environment for all employees. You will oversee production processes to produce the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, and manage product quality to meet or exceed customer specifications. Must have AUTOMOTIVE supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all assigned employees through training and enforcement of company safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and workplace organization to meet NSG standards.
• Develop, plan, and coordinate production employee activities using the PDCA approach.
• Manage product quality to meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications.
• Facilitate training for all supervised employees to understand job requirements.
• Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address and resolve mutual concerns.
• Maintain a union-free environment.
• Support briefing and communication requirements.
• Provide guidance, counseling, or recognition related to job performance.
• Direct and coordinate continuous improvement activities utilizing data-driven problem-solving techniques.
• Optimize material flow and storage of all direct and indirect materials throughout work cells.
• Actively participate in the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory.

Essential Skills

• Production management experience.
• Supervision expertise.
• Process improvement knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years of experience successfully managing people in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel, from hourly employees to upper management.

The work environment is a manufacturing setting, where you will engage with various technologies and processes. You will work alongside a diverse team, focusing on safety and efficiency, with standard working hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Versailles, KY.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
