Welder

Job Title: Welder 1st shift: $22.50/ 2nd shift: $23.50 / weekend shift 27/hour

Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for supplying warehouse parts to major distribution centers. As a welder, you will play a crucial role in repairing parts that have been missed by robotic welders, ensuring that production numbers are met and quality parts are delivered.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair welds on parts that robotic welders missed.
• Set up jigs and fixtures by adjusting fixtures and equipment used in production.
• Operate equipment efficiently to meet production standards while ensuring quality using necessary measuring tools.
• Maintain required records and keep a clean work area.
• Follow verbal and written instructions related to the operation of dies and equipment.
• Conduct fixture set-ups and operations, buffing, spot welding, and operate special welding fixtures.
• Perform MIG welding, load jigs, pack, deburr, sort, and rework parts according to blueprints.

Essential Skills

• Experience in MIG welding.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Capability to keep up with production numbers while ensuring quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in machine loading is a plus.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

Work in a non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment. Expect warmer conditions in the summer and cooler conditions in the winter.

This is a Contract position based out of Versailles, KY.

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $27.00/hr.
