Job Description

We are seeking Instrument Technicians to perform wiring and assembly of control panels for the oil and gas industry. This role involves working on platforms to pipelines in a shop setting. Once trained, there may be opportunities to spend time in the field assisting with the installation of new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of control panels.
• Work on projects from platforms to pipelines in a shop setting.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Potential fieldwork to assist in the installation of new equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical wiring and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience in control panel assembly.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belle Chasse, LA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
