Job Description
This temporary shop-based Splicing Technician role focuses on electrical splicing and related electrical service work in a structured industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical splicing work in a shop environment, ensuring safe and accurate connections.
- Support electrical service activities, including cable pulling and preparation of electrical components.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, install, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment according to established procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and shop guidelines while working with electrical systems and tools.
- Inspect and verify the quality of splices and electrical connections to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and shop personnel to complete daily work orders and project tasks on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper storage and handling of tools and materials.
- Operate vehicles and equipment responsibly, adhering to driving and safety policies.
- Document work performed as required, including noting any issues, defects, or needed repairs.
- Adapt to changing project needs and assist with additional electrical or mechanical tasks as assigned.
This is a Contract position based out of Broussard, LA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
