Job Description

Join our team as a Lab Technician where you will be responsible for sample preparation, supporting the chemist, conducting titrations and liquid extractions, and performing weight difference analyses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis.
• Assist the chemist in various laboratory tasks.
• Conduct titrations and liquid extractions.
• Perform weight difference analyses.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a production environment.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of chemistry and laboratory procedures.
• Proven ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a life science.
• Undergraduate coursework in chemistry, biochemistry, or organic chemistry.
• 1+ years of experience in a laboratory setting is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in an oil chemistry laboratory as part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing new lab technicians into high-level scientists and technologists. Gain hands-on experience with new instrumentation and methods. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with a start time between 6 AM and 7 AM, followed by an 8-hour workday.
