Strategic Senior Technology Specialist
Position Profile
The Strategic Senior Technology Specialist is responsible for executing the core equipment and basic services strategy within assigned Strategic and Enterprise accounts, in collaboration with the Client Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Client Executive to implement equipment and basic services strategies within assigned accounts.
- Independently lead customer engagements and meetings, leveraging subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal resources to develop, propose, and close deals.
- Qualify opportunities effectively and create proposals that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Present and position the Ricoh portfolio to align with customer needs and budgets.
- Lead pricing discussions, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Sell and deliver profitable core equipment and basic services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Build trust and influence with clients through effective collaboration and communication.
- Clearly articulate Ricoh's industry position and value proposition.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience selling to Fortune 5000 companies.
- Proven consultative selling skills.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Deep understanding of customer approval and internal business processes.
- Experience selling service annuities and managing change orders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence through collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of core products and services.
- Ability to independently develop and present value propositions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Awareness of market trends and adaptability to change.
- Technologically proficient, with knowledge of enterprise IT architectures.
- High learning agility.
- Primarily office-based with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.
- Work involves interpreting and applying complex information and data.
- Minimal physical effort; mostly sedentary with occasional walking, standing, and light lifting (under 10 lbs).
- Moderate dexterity required for tasks such as typing and using office tools.
- Travel required approximately 30%, including potential overnight stays.
