Scientist – Immunology (Autoimmune & Inflammatory Diseases)

Location: Cambridge, MA | Department: Immunology | Job Type: Full-Time - Contract


Are you passionate about advancing science to improve patient lives? Join a dynamic Immunology team focused on discovering novel therapeutic targets for autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases. We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Scientist to help develop innovative in vitro models for immune-mediated diseases, with a focus on psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of computational biology and experimental immunology, contributing to impactful research in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute in vitro cellular assays using both cell lines and primary cells
  • Optimize cell culture conditions and phenotypic assays
  • Perform molecular and protein analysis techniques including:
    • PCR and gene expression profiling
    • ELISA/MSD and Western blotting
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data; present findings in internal meetings
  • Maintain meticulous lab records and contribute to scientific discussions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate novel therapeutic targets


Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus!)

  • Experience with flow cytometry and tissue explant models
  • Familiarity with autoimmune disease biology

What We’re Looking For

  • BS/BA in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 1–4 years of lab experience (MS degree preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience in sterile cell culture and assay development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for science, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset
