About the Role

We’re seeking a polished, professional AV Support Technician to provide ticket-based, on-site support for a corporate office in Cambridge, MA. This role requires responsiveness, discretion, and excellent communication skills while ensuring seamless AV experiences for executive-level users.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to AV support tickets and resolve issues in conference rooms, huddle spaces, and executive boardrooms.
• Troubleshoot and fix problems with AV systems (Crestron, Biamp, Extron) and UC platforms (Zoom, Teams).
• Assist with meeting setups, ensuring equipment is tested and ready before sessions start.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as firmware updates and system health checks.
• Deliver white-glove support for executives and high-profile users, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
• Document all service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or vendors when necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Crestron, Biamp, and Extron systems.
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow and cabling standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Polished, professional presence with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience supporting AV in corporate environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• CTS certification (highly valued).
• Experience with Zoom Rooms or Microsoft Teams Rooms.
• Familiarity with AV over IP technologies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cambridge, MA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
