Job Title: Training Learning Management System Specialist
Job DescriptionThis role involves the design, maintenance, and administration of a Learning Management System (LMS) with both electronic and paper-based elements. The specialist will establish and implement strategies to maintain training requirements and curricula, ensuring all documentation is completed, processed, filed, and archived according to GxP standards. This role may also include delivering specific GxP, New Hire Orientation, and other related training material as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Training Learning Management System Administrator, managing and improving strategies for GxP compliance.
- Manage the LMS system, providing support to functional areas and training personnel.
- Represent the training department during internal and external regulatory audits, providing necessary LMS support.
- Develop, maintain, and provide training on the LMS to applicable personnel.
- Maintain processes for training record data entry, filing, archival, and retrieval.
- Research and analyze industry learning technology trends and their applicability to the training system.
- Act as an LMS coordinator, providing reports and processing training data in a timely manner.
- Address general training system and LMS inquiries, assisting with training delivery setups.
- Coordinate with New Hire Orientation stakeholders for new employee training.
- Work with departments and trainers to schedule instructor-led training sessions.
- Assist with scheduling personnel for qualifications such as gowning and aseptic technique.
- Collaborate with management and SMEs to design, develop, approve, and maintain training curricula and materials.
- Evaluate and improve existing training programs and solutions.
- Establish, maintain, and generate site training metrics and LMS reports.
- Work with leadership to establish Key Performance Indicators and address training compliance gaps.
- Conduct training effectiveness checks using Kirkpatrick's Levels of Evaluation, and manage course evaluations.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience in a GxP Training environment.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems, preferably ComplianceWire.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Project management skills with leadership capability.
- Technical writing experience, including SOP and OJT development.

Work Environment
This hybrid role requires onsite presence 2-3 days a week in a laboratory setting, handling training sessions. The work environment is business casual with a smaller team of about four people.
