Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
We are currently hiring long-term heavy equipment operators for projects in Greater Boston (Projects in Stow and then Cambridge). This role will revolve around excavation, loader and dozer use. We are looking for someone with site work or environmental experience for this position. The role will pay $35 - $45 an hour depending on skill level. This position will require an OSHA 40, we will be paying for that certificate for you if you don't already have it. We are interviewing today and tomorrow virtually and will line up an in person if that goes well.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as Excavators, Bulldozers, Loaders, Skid-Steers, and Backhoes.
- Perform general labor and environmental tasks as needed.
- Utilize GPS machine control where applicable.
- Read and interpret plans and construction drawings.
- Travel within New England as required by project locations.
Essential Skills
- 5-10 years of construction experience.
- OSHA 10 Hour certification.
- Ability to operate various heavy equipment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER training is preferred.
- Experience with GPS machine control is a plus.
- Ability to travel within New England is advantageous.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cambridge, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
