Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler
Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices while working within a controlled, sterile, medical-grade manufacturing area.
Responsibilities
- Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures.
- Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
- Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products.
- Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test equipment.
- Participate in line meetings as needed.
- Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
- Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects.
- Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities.
- Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations.
Essential Skills
- Attention to detail and hand dexterity.
- Ability to learn and be trained on new skills and equipment.
- Microscope experience preferred.
- Experience in clean room, medical device, or manufacturing preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work with small plastic and metal components.
- Capability to maintain production levels in a high volume manufacturing setting.

Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom environment requiring PPE all day. Maintain professionalism with a clean-cut, business casual attire. First shift runs from 7am to 3:30pm, and second shift from 3:30pm to 11:30pm. Training period lasts 5-7 weeks. Note: No jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, perfumes, or colognes are permitted.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr.
