Job Description
As an Supply Chain Import Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce waste. You will be responsible for researching and resolving any import and export broker exceptions, maintaining and updating internal documentation for training and reference purposes, and supporting the Trade Compliance team with various import/export-related administrative tasks.

- Support the Trade Compliance team with a variety of import/export-related administrative tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation/Supply Chain/Operations
- Strong math, logical, and problem-solving skills
- High proficiency in creating and managing advanced models using SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Analyst work background or focus in higher education
- Conceptual understanding of systems and configuration management
- Experience or familiarity with basic international trade principles (e.g., imports, exports)
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Excellent reading and communication skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills (e.g., V-LOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Interest in pursuing a career in international trade
Work Environment
The role operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm EST. Remote work is acceptable within the EST and CST time zones. This position offers the possibility of extension or conversion, allowing you to navigate through changing expectations in business processes and provide new solutions in the workspace.
