Job Title: Project Manager - Digital Projects

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager for Digital Projects who will be responsible for a blend of technical oversight, coordination, and hands-on involvement in automation and MES systems within a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead automation project management and automation controls engineering.
  • Perform regulatory compliance through SDLC and validation best practices.
  • Manage large-scale automation or MES projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop SDLC documentation and execute validation protocols including IQ/OQ/PQ.
  • Configure MES platforms, troubleshoot batch issues, and integrate MES with ERP, LIMS, QMS, and historian systems.
  • Plan projects, manage risks, coordinate with vendors, and report status updates.
  • Influence without authority, lead diverse teams, present to Sr. leadership, and manage vendor relationships.

Essential Skills

  • Strong project management skills with experience in automation engineering.
  • Deep understanding of GMP operations and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley), SCADA/HMI platforms (Wonderware, FactoryTalk, WinCC), and industrial networking.
  • Experience with SDLC documentation and validation protocols.
  • Strong competence in project planning, risk management, and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to influence without authority and lead diverse teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with MES platforms (PAS X, Siemens), system ownership, and recipe configuration.
  • Experience with MBR design and integration with enterprise systems such as LIMS, ERP, PI Historian, and QMS.
  • Experience supporting or leading cloud/historian migrations.
  • Strong GMP, compliance, and CSV experience.
  • Exceptional communication, teaming, and leadership skills.
  • Go-getter attitude, independent problem-solving, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at the Framingham production facility, providing a hands-on role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Framingham, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $78.00/hr.
